Cypress policyholders beware. We were referred to Allied by Cypress Insurance, as Allied is their preferred vendor and were told we would receive a discount on our deductible for using them. The money saved on our deductible ended up NOT being worth the trouble we encountered with this company. Missed appointments, lack of communication, sketchy work that required multiple corrections, and a general apathetic attitude is something you can expect from this company. We were originally told our “simple repair” would take less than a month. It ended up taking more than three months, mostly because it was rare they showed up to work before 11am, and extremely rare that they worked more than four hours a day. The project manager in charge missed no less than five appointments with us, either from last minute cancellations or simply not showing up. Multiple parts of our contracted work were skipped over and required remedy after we registered complaints. The subcontractor used was often double booked and messed up our electrical outlets in two rooms which required an electrician to fix. In our experience, the deductible discount was not worth the trouble of dealing with this company. Strongly consider using a different company.
