My approach is based on the belief that you are naturally intelligent and resourceful. My role is to help bring out the skills, creativity, and strengths within you. Compassion, insight, and intuition represent my style. My clients tend to be active, professionals who are wanting to have more of what I call "courageous clarity." This means knowing very clearly what you want and need for your life. It also means having the courage to move towards it. I view the interrelationship of mind, heart, body, and spirit as rich sources of information. I support you in freeing yourself from limiting beliefs, unproductive habits, and patterns that blocks life satisfaction. These blocks often manifest as depression or anxiety, and/or as issues with work or relationships.

For the past 30 years, I have helped individuals and couples create new behaviors, healthier lifestyles and satisfying relationships. I am interactive -- focusing on current goals while keeping in perspective past strengths when handling life's hardships. I treat long/short term problems and have worked with many different populations and problems including: relationships, commitment, depression, anxiety, recovery, stress, work relations, midlife crises, first child, singles, creative (artists, writers, musicians etc), cross-cultural, ethnic and spiritual concerns. I have taught and supervised many different forms of psychotherapy and now have my own integrative active style. It is mostly talk therapy but I also do EMDR, SANDTRAY & MEDITATION for stress if indicated. License #14038.
