I hired Chris Zorn Approximately four months ago to start a rehab of a home I bought in Orlando. I was referred to him by my real estate agent, but he turned out to be a personal friend of hers which is a no-no in real estate. I am a realtor so I know. The six week job really turned out to be about 3 1/2 months and he has walked off the job and not finished. There are doors that I have paid for that are on order that he refuses to hang, the painters left Midway with an unfinished products and Chris is refusing to finish. The job went really well although I did notice and was told even buy his people that he is not a rehab contractor he really does medical offices so this was supposedly one of his first and did not have a clue on how to deal with the details that it takes to rehab and expensive home. It got very weird at the end and the way he acted to be honest kind of scared me. He left the project and refuses to finish the job although he has been paid more than what I was supposed to certain things were cut off the project and not refunded, but he was sure to charge me for upgrades. I would not recommend him for this kind of job. The house looks beautiful but I’ve got to say I’ve got great taste and this is about my 30th house that I’ve done for myself and clients so I really have a formula. Don’t use him.
