I bought an EliteField cat carrier from North Shore Animal League when I adopted two kittens, so I could take them home. The next time I used it, just a couple of weeks later, I put my kittens inside and put the shoulder strap on my shoulder, and the plastic clip that holds the strap to the carrier broke, dropping my little kittens to the floor from waist height. These kittens were only 4.2 lbs and 4 lbs, so 8.2 lbs altogether, as weighed that same day by the vet. EliteField flatly refuses to honor their warranty because they say it wasn't purchased at an authorized seller (which the customer has no way of knowing until their inferior product breaks and they won't honor the warranty). I would never give EliteField another cent and I strongly recommend against buying any products made by this unscrupulous company.
