RMT Farms LLC is a small family run farm and rescue located in the small town of Litchfield in beautiful Central Maine and was established in 2010. On our little patch of heaven called “Rmt Farms” we enjoy getting back to the basics. We love family, friends, mother earth, community, and all animals. We like the concept of being self-sufficient, and are constantly striving to get closer to that goal. We believe every animal deserves to be treated right and have a loving forever home. We strive to help as many animals as we can. We currently have Goats of all sizes, Emus, Free Range Chickens, Turkeys, Alpacas, and Potbelly Pigs. Every animal on our farm is a rescued animal here to get the care they need and deserve and get the chance to live life to its fullest. We offer many natural products at our farm stand/store including a full line of Goat Milk and Emu oil skincare products, farm fresh produce, flowers, herbs, seedlings, seasonal items and fresh eggs and are always looking to add more to help people enjoy farm fresh with out breaking the bank. We believe money should never be reason not to enjoy farm fresh items. We will always go the extra mile to provide our customers and community's with personalized service, you are not just a number, you are our cherished customers and we will work every day to keep your business and your trust. We are built on keeping our promises and are always up-front and transparent while always striving to pay it forward. We pursue continuous improvement and education in our different fields. We remain committed to being an eco-friendly zero waste business by striving to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever we can. Each year, we attend most of the Maine State Fairs, different craft shows, trade shows , and we also do many educational events. Our Farm dose many different community driven events here on the farm, depending on the season. We offer many different services depending on the time of the year as well. We are always available to help where needed and can be reached round the clock. Our farm store and animal areas are open to the public.
