On 08/03/22 at 4 PM, in Wayzata, I was traveling West on Hwy 12 in the middle lane. Up two car lengths in the left lane was a black Hantho landscaping trailer being pulled by a white pickup truck. At first a big cloud of brown dirt came out of the trailer. Next big rocks and boulders starting coming out of the trailer onto the highway amongst a group of cars.
The rocks were 5" to 8" in diameter and were coming up over the trailer's walls and were bouncing off the highways and colliding with people's cars. Scarily, some of the rocks were almost bouncing up to windshield height. I immediately called 911 and they connected me to State Patrol and I gave them the license plate "3478CTJ".
My car got hit in the front end by one of these huge rocks but I thought it probably was okay because I had clear bra protection film. Immidiately after my front end was hit, I had pulled up to the white pickup truck, the young man in his 20's rolled down his window, and I told him about the rocks coming out of the trailer. The driver, also a young man in his 20s, then pulled the truck off the next exit.
I then called Hantho Landscaping, got the secretary, and told her what had happened too and gave her the license plate. Twenty minutes later I got to my destination and I checked my front end. Sure enough there was a huge dent and scratch on the car as the rock was too big for the clear bra to protect from it. I then called back to get their insurance information and they then stonewalled me. No call back, secretary said the manager had my number, but he never called.
This company completely lacks integrity. Please do not use this company for any services. I will have to litigate this now.
