Hi, I’m Irma Mitchell! I am the owner/stylist at Salon le Soleil, a private Beauty Salon. I employ a staff of three stylists including myself.

I've worked with many talented hair stylists over my 21 years experience in Austin. I've had numerous hands-on classes from Goldwell, Matrix, Vidal Sassoon, Pureology and Sebastian. My ultimate goal was to own my own salon, and now I have achieved it with Salon le Soleil! I've worked with many talented hair stylists over my 21 years experience in Austin. I've had numerous hands-on classes from Goldwell, Matrix, Vidal Sassoon, Pureology and Sebastian. My ultimate goal was to own my own salon, and now I have achieved it with Salon le Soleil! I have several well trained, professional, and wonderful stylists working for Salon le Soleil, who graduated from the Paul Mitchell Institute and are now working as full time employees. I don’t think that stylists should have to rent space to do their work. The stylists that I employ at my Salon are required by me to pursue continued education above and beyond, leading to their financial success and a strong, satisfied clientele. I would like at some point to sell my salon and provide education in all aspects of the hair industry. I am working towards becoming an active contributor to local outreach programs, such as helping women return to work, in whatever industry they choose. I think that promoting a professional appearance to future employers is a valuable part of securing a job. Although I am not affiliated with the organization, I do refer women to Dress for Success, which provides an interview outfit as well as an outfit for work, and not just the clothes, but also jewelry, shoes, makeup and assistance with creating their resume. I’m hopeful that I will be able to contribute to this organization and provide my talents to help others.
