For the year that I was residing with In His Care under Barry Reber and residential director Tom Hammond I experienced a very inspiring transition as I bore witness and participated in the process of refining the property and implementing necessary change to increase the integrity and stability of this Clean and Sober Faith-based transitional residence. The aesthetic and membership began a beautiful improvement and the resident members had established a peaceful and caring dynamic with the participation of some 20 to 30 members of the church and the regular attendance of the mutually shared system of belief in Christ and our Father in heaven. My own involvement was propelled eventually to becoming a key participant in this evolution as I had embraced the responsibility of problem resolutions, house management, and administration of events that needed to conform and remain organized with consideration for a vast array of diverse personality types and the implementing of Christmas ceremonial proceedings that included a live musical performance (where I played several portions of piano for), a Christmas sermon which I also was assigned with administration of, and a banquet style feast that we had orchestrated for all the members and any family who had been welcomed to enjoy as well. This depiction is for the purpose of demonstrating the growth and capability that so often becomes fulfilled by the freedom from addiction and the common pitfalls associated with it as a person is inspired by the wonderful effects of becoming closer to the Lord and with a support structure which offers the benefits and provisions that are endowed to the actively engaged participation in Barry's program facilitation. Having such a gracious and truly caring individual as our pastor and friend in Barry allowed this development of spiritual growth and maturity to be optimized through the established methods and principles that residents have willingly accepted when they become a member of the church community- and the friendships that are culminated from having this kind of healthy and supportive social dynamic tend to be valuable and worthwhile. I recommend this environment for anyone who has the desire to grow spiritually and also is hoping to find themselves with opportunity to begin generating income from the prospective networking potential that is made accessible from Barry's expansive and predominantly prosperous business affiliations.
