this agency was assigned to help my disabled brother ,tried to contact his case worker for over a week to get a copy of my brother documents but my calls were blocked and my emails were ignored so decided to call the agency and the owner which is the manager answered the call and was very aggressive keeps questioning me tell stating i keeped calling the case manager while i was blocked and telling me I have to have an appointment with the case worker to get the help for my brother, so I asked her just to send me a copy of my brother document which the case worker has . guess what ? the case manager who blocked her client calls and had no time to respond got mad and called another agency ( all the sudden she has time ) that I seeked help before to get some used furniture for me and my brother which she gave us a referral to get furniture then asked them not to help me or help my brother and we do not need help and told them that I just recently bought a house and we have lots of nice furniture and we were lying!!! basically she changed her mind after submitting the referral also she shared my information and my address with that agency even when im not her client , yes she did that ,so I called her agency to file a complaint but the aggressive manager started to defend her worker and questioning me instead of verifying what I reported , after back and forth and having a conference call with the case worker she threatened me infront of her manager and I have a witness since my friend was listening and clearly heard the case manager saying ( you know what I'm capable of doing ).
imagine a mental case manager who hurt her clients and threatened his family only because they wanted their documents.
Now I'm in a fear of her actions she did hurt us when she stopped the furniture agency from helping us and she is a ware we are in need , and I dont know what else she is planning to do especially her manager was defensive and never treated me fairly or at least my brother is her client .
her actions and threatened me caused me anxiety and panic attacks .
I'm going to report what happend and get a statement from the agency who they got the call from the case worker and from the witness since this agency doesn't follow the protocol and allow me to file a written complaint. I will make sure me and my brother and kids are protected
I'm filling a complaint with the state, with medicaid as well, until I'm positive she is not going to hurt us at all.
I will never trust anyone and will never let anyone in my house anymore.
Never imagined a mental case manager would use client information to hurt him until this happened. that is actually abuse
she gave my brother a referral and changed her mind when I asked to stop the service.
I should have paid attention to her when she shared a lot of clients' information with me, but I thought she was considering me a friend.
The one who gets paid to help my brother is the one who is asking people not to help him .
the manager did call me today and explained that the case worker didn't mean to threaten me but that is not true because I stopped her when she said that and told her manager to tell me what is she going to do ? the manager said I would have a talk with her later .She did her best covering for her case manager and never cared for her client.
they knew we were originally from different country , not fluent in English, and in need of help , but that doesn't give them the right to discriminate against or mistreated us .
my friend felt horrible when she heard them talking to me the way they did, and she spoke up and told them that wasn't a professional thing to do.
All my friends are shocked at what did she do , calling to stop my brother from getting help even when she got paid to help my brother .
Her agency manager absolutely did nothing but question me and cover for her .
My brother was terrified when he heard what she said and ended up in the Er from stressing out and mental breakdown ,Everything is documented, and I will do my best to stop them from discriminating against anyone else .
