Wow! A couple of large trees in town taken down today, using a crane, a chipper and a crew of 6. They were fast, organized, and worked together seamlessly to get this done most efficiently in two hours, including sweeping the driveway and raking the yard. I was impressed.

Not only did these guys do great work, but they completely changed my ideas about how well a local tree service can perform. Since they're Amish-owned, I expected them to show up with a large crew and tackle the job with sheer manpower. Instead, they showed up with a small but well-trained crew that was towing some of the most impressive and efficient machinery I have ever seen used in residential work. Between their Bandit chipper that swallowed entire pine trees, right up to and including their 20-inch trunks, that Vermeer stump grinder which did such a superb job that I could ride over the entire area the next day with my lawn mower, and a better clean-up job than I have ever seen from three other firms over the past thirty years, I've gotta say that I was as pleased as I was surprised.
