You'll be dancing within 15 minutes, and your satisfaction is guaranteed; if you are unhappy with your lesson, it's FREE. DWJ host two dances per week at various locations, so you'll have plenty of chances to practice what you've learned. Janet started social dancing in 1998 and began sharing what she knew with others shortly thereafter. She was trained as a Dance Instructor in 2006 and began teaching group lessons in 2008. Dance With Janet was officially born in 2011. By 2017, more requests for classes began coming in than Janet could personally teach and she realized she needed help. She trained additional instructors in her unique method of teaching and now dozens of classes are offered per week in both beginner and intermediate levels. Meet the Business Owner: Janet It's not a rags to riches story, but it's close. The nerdy introvert who only wanted to read books in her room now spends all her time with people, getting to know them and watching the joy on their faces when they learn how to dance to the music they love. She has brought country dancing to people who otherwise would not have seen it, and encouraged diehard country dancers to include pop and rock music. She enjoys going where the people are, no matter where that may be. She has taken dance instruction to a different level and enjoys figuring out how to make dancing more approachable and affordable.
