From the first moment once I stepped onto that mat and I knew I was in for a real fitness breakthrough. No more wondering whether if my cardio on the treadmill, elliptical, bicycle, stairclimber is the right speed, right incline, right level, etc- no more wondering if the weights I’m doing at the gym are appropriate for me, how many reps, how many sets should I do... I absolutely loved every moment while I was being instructed by the wonderful staff here at ILKB. It was tough initially but the enthusiasm and the motivation these instructors have is amazing. You get a full body workout from the first minute- a running warm up, to actual appropriate stretching warm ups which make you sweat , to the actual kickboxing portion, then partnering up for partner exercises—all the way to the final few minutes with cool down stretches, some yoga poses, and some inspirational motivational and encouraging tips from the instructors to the very final stretch. Not one second is wasted. A full body workout, a full body experience that I couldn’t express how amazing it is. From the initial tour to the final minutes after the work out I felt so comfortable because these instructors are giving plenty attention to each and every kickboxer on that mat. They give tips, modifications, or how to do the 'move' more appropriately. The music, the environment, members and staff was just awesome. Thanks ILKB lake grove!! I can't wait to see my progress!!
