I've been using HP laptops for 20 years, and before that, desktops. As I do a lot of charitable work and pack my laptop with me, I'm tough on laptops. I'm not a high-end tech user (mostly Microsoft office applications), but HP made it easy for me to exploit my machine to better serve me. 90 percent of my problems I can handle myself. Always be wary of hacks and I've had one or two of them that blew my files up absolutely. But one ride to a techy guy of mine, and good to go.

My HP Pavilion is 6 years old and continues to run solid! The only thing I've ever done is battery-change. I'm absolutely happy with this model, and will certainly buy another HP laptop!
