I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist in TX and CA. I provide counseling services to teens (over 14), adults, couples and families. Do anxiety, depression or anger prevent you from leading a fulfilling life? Would you like your teen to stop acting out or shutting down? Have you been fighting a lot with your partner and having a hard time communicating? I have 15+ years of experience supporting teens, families, millennials, adults and couples (LGBTQI encouraged) with breaking old patterns, improving communication with others and meeting life goals. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration, growth and healing. My therapy style is warm, straightforward, collaborative and relational. I specialize in 1. Adults dealing with stress, sadness and life transitions. 2. Couples who've been fighting, feeling distant and having communication problems. As an emotionally focused therapist, I have the tools to help you feel more connected, present and fulfilled in your relationship. 3. Teens and Millennials dealing with depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges and life transitions. When working with teens, I often work closely with their caregivers. I have found that understanding the teen's feelings and behaviors within the family context and taking different approaches to managing them often decreases unwanted behaviors.
