My LIVING NIGHTMARE for almost 2 months. I paid James Easton AIA $3,425 upfront. Over 7 weeks later, all I received from him were some very basic CAD drawings of room layout and room dimensions ***of my design vision***. MY design that James Easton continuously reminded me throughout this exhausting ordeal that "he now legally owned" due to Copyright laws. James recommended using 10"-12" fiberglass "batts" for insulation in the walls and ceilings -VS- spray foam in order to achieve proper "R" values. James recommended adding wood framing to entire interior of shipping container home to accomplish this. The project kept dragging on and on with virtually no progress. James then had the audacity to demand another $1680 be paid upfront in order to continue moving forward with MY project and furnish me with anything more than basic drawings of room layout and dimensions. After nearly 2 months of dealing with his ongoing shenanigans and excuses, I finally decided to cut my losses and move on. In the end, I lost a few thousand dollars and almost 2 months of time - but now sleep much better and couldn't be happier to no longer have James Easton involved with this project.
