I would NOT reccomend using Cabinet Solutions. We decided to use cabinet solutions in June of 2020, so we could support a local business during covid.
There were small "clues" along the way we should have chose a different cabinet retailer, however I kept giving them the "Mom and Pop" benefit of the doubt. I wanted to give them our money, plus their price was competitve...so we thought.
I will list our three largest complaints and skip the others:
1 We purchased almost 60 cabinets for our project. We were told they visit twice for measurement and deliver (selling point). Dwayne had ALL cabinets to our driveway and told us it would cost extra to have them carried inside.
2 My cabinets, cap, and crown were ordered to go to the ceiling. Elaine visited twice and measured. We hired reputable cabinet installers because it was such a large project. The day the installers came out to install everything... they couldn't install the cap and crown, because it didn't go to the ceiling. Elaine instructed the installers to install the cap and crown and leave a GAP "shadow line" above the cabinets. We said no. Elaine ordered the proper size. Unfortunately for us, because of her error, we had to have our installers come back weeks later to install the final cap and crown. This was an additional and significant expense.
3 The day our electrician was going to place the plug for our double oven, he noticed the cabinet was too shallow. The wrong cabinet was ordered, even when Cabinet Solutions had our double oven specs. We called Elaine and she told us that people cut out the backs to double oven cabinets all the time (hmm... even when something is custom ordered?). I emailed Medallion and they stated a deeper cabinet should have been ordered and I could work with the dealer for compensation. We attempted, but Elaine and Dwaine refused. Instead, they couldn't even acknowledge their mistates, they simply blamed our cabinet installers.
We also incured extra expenses from this mistake because we had to have our cabinet installers visit, yet again and CUT A LARGE HOLE into the back our our double oven cabinet. This weakened the structure, so additional supports had to be created by the installer.
Save yourself the stress and go to Menards.. they sell the same product AND it comes with customer service.
If you are debating using this company, I want you to reflect on the following: Why is Cabinet Solutions always looking for cabinet installers? Why do things feel disorganized? Why won't they provide an itemized sheet that tells me what I'm purchasing BEFORE I pay them. (As I write this I'm thinking it's a shame on me. But maybe I can save you time, money, and stress).
