Yunick Motorsports, LLC and its owner scammed my client out of more than $62,000 on purchase of a Caterpillar diesel engine and the down payment of a second Caterpillar diesel engine. The business advertises on Ebay and Facebook showing photos of partially assembled engines. They require a deposit to finish the build and then delay the process by making excuses and not returning efforts at communication. When they do return communications, it is to demand more money to finish the build on the engine. They effectively never finish the build, say they sold the engine to someone else and they try to offer something else. The build we received was not complete and had a wrong component installed. It was essentially a core engine that had been painted. The owner has been arrested on another case and is awaiting trial in Florida charged with Organized Fraud. The owner may also be operating under the name Delta Plows.
