Pros We just relocated to North Carolina and didn’t know you needed to call and have the yard checked for power lines. In Texas, homes are automatically built with a fence. Matt took the initiative to call and have the service set up. That was a big help. The cost to build the fence was a good price. The fence is sturdy and we believe it will hold up over time. They built the fence in one day. The workers were friendly. Cons Matt did not show up or call for our first meeting. When I reached out to him, he explained he got caught up with his other job. I understand but a text only takes 1 minute. We were given a date they would arrive to start building. The day came and went and they never showed up. They never called to inform us. They simply did not show up. When I tried to contact them, I was told via text message that something came up and they would be out the next day. This happened a second time! We just moved in and had a dog, so we really needed a fence. We decided to stick with them. After the fence was built, they left the stickers on the bottom of all the wooden boards. The entire bottom of the fence had stickers on each board. I had to walk through and pick each one off. The fence settled after a couple days and one of the gates began to hit the ground and would not open. I text Matt and he said someone would be there to fix it. Once again, that day came and went with no one showed up. Matt stated one of his workers got injured and they were shorthanded. Fine, I can understand that, but someone should call and let us know they won’t be coming. The next TWO dates he gave us for fixing the gate came and went with no one showing up. He then began ignoring my text messages. We had to fix the gate ourselves. I posted a negative review outlining what happened and got a text from Matt’s partner asking me to take the review down. He apologized for everything. I know times are tough right now due to Covid, and since the fence was sturdy and he offered me a gift card to a restaurant of my choice, I agreed to remove the post. Two weeks went by and no gift card. When I texted, he told me he has been really busy and would bring it over. I told him to just mail it. Two more weeks go by and no gift card. I texted again and he apologizes and says he will drop it off on Friday. Big surprise… he never came. Days later he texts me and says he has the gift card and will bring it by. He never showed up… Bottom line, these guys are not reliable and completely unprofessional. In the end, it is our fault for sticking with them. We should have known better after the first No Call, No Show. Use them if you can’t find anyone else and it’s an emergency to get a fence up. Even then, you might want to reconsider.
