Completley dishonest. Stonewest Concrete / Josh Hansen has legal judgements against him. He did not pay for the materials that were delivered and left before the job was done. He has lied about paying for the materials so the lien on the property (issued by the concrete supplier) would be removed, then claimed to have the funds to pay for the lien and still not paid it.

Update: Judge in my case ruled in our favor. Been over 30 days and have not received settlement despite contacting this business. Original review: This business (Josh Hansen) is not ethical and if you are thinking of hiring them. We hired them to provide a walkout to our basement and gave them a deposit along with equipment rental fee. We were promised our work would start in a week which came and went. We then tried to get him to provide a date to start and he did not get back to us so we decided to cancel. We have not received our deposit back nor our rental fee for equipment we never used. Josh said of we ‘told him what to do’ and demanded our money back then he would keep our deposit! Ask yourself if this is the type of company you wamt to do business with?

Kai Ton We apologize for whatever miscommunication their must have been about the scheduling and the project in general. When you called and notified us that you no longer want us to proceed we asked several times the reason for your decision and at the time you told us that it was because you were running low on money and just didn’t have the money to continue on with the job, and that your neighbors were complaining about the location you wanted the walkout. We asked several times your reason and you never mentioned it’s because we had another much larger job that we weren’t quite done on yet. We were only only one day past the original start date, and you were made well aware that our deposits are non refundable and we will not even schedule your job until the deposit is made . The deposit is collected for no reason other than to hold your spot and so our customers don’t back out of a project , costing us thousands because we now have a week with no work because it was scheduled for your job. You knew once deposit was made it’s non refundable. Very similar to the reason big retail stores deposits are non refundable for items you want to buy but need them too hold it until you can go buy it. They know they will lose opportunity on sales in that time. And we are no different and the logic is the same. I offered to give you $2500 Back and you refused .
