I list a item on Craigslist for $450 and they sent a check $1980. And I find out for searching that it a scam

Just received a fake check for 2,600.00 and call B of A Bank and the check is as fake as the package it came in. DO NOT DEPOSITED or try to cash it.

FRAUD!!!!!!, I WAS ASKED TO CASH A CHECK FOR 1950.00 , I CHECK LOOKED FAKE SO I CALLED THE BANK. SURE ENOUGH - FAKE!!!! THEY WANTED TO WRAP CAR IN MONSTER ENERGY DRINK. BE AWARE!!!!!!

I was sent check for some company in Iowa via UPS. I was already aware of this car wrap scam. Why would they send a larger check to you, and expect you to pay someone else? Check was for $2950. I was supposed to send funds to the car wrapper, but of course I was not supposed to send them a check. Google maps shows a dive of a house at that address.

FRAUD!!!!!!! This is fraudulent. I was sent a fake check and was spammed into cashing that check and sending a money order. I lost a lot of money because of this creep!

I have found out that this is a fraudulent company that sent me a check to purchase an item from Craigslist and the check was not issued by CBC Settlement Funding.
