We bought a new build property sold by Kelly Cook Real Estate Group which used Fordel Development to build in October 2019. The house was 30% complete at that time, and by no means a custom build. We were told originally that the house would be completed by the end of December 2019. 6 months later, the house is still only 30% complete. We were told 3 other closing dates from January 2020 until possibly "sometime" in June 2020. We canceled the contract with both Kelly Cook Real Estate and Fordel Development. They offered us absolutely nothing to compensate for several months of storage and rent costs that we incurred solely because of their delays. The communication was abysmal as NO ONE was in charge of the transaction. The worst transaction of any kind I have ever been a part of. This review is entirely to draw awareness to the struggles we endured through this transaction that was ultimately canceled, due to lack of concern for our well-being and lack of a home.
