Jordan was a very nice guy when he came out to look at my property. He came up with a quote that I thought was a little pricey, but I liked him so I agreed. Out of 3 bids, I decided to have Jordan do bid #1 and part of bid #2. He and his worker showed up on time and started to work. Jordan and I went around the property to identify what I wanted done. At the end of the day, Jordan and I walked the property and discussed the rest of bid #2 and all of bid #3. Feeling like we were on the same page Jordan left. The next day in the better light I walked the property again and sent Jordan a text telling him that he missed a bunch of weeds; left lots of tall stumps from the plants removed; that they cut down instead of removing a section of plants; cut to the ground pretty white berry bushes that I doubt will grow back; and pointed out that they pulled one of my flowers out. My phone soon rang and it was Jordan telling me that one of his guys hurt his back and quit. Jordan said that he couldn't help me with the rest of the bids and when I asked him if he would come to do the regular maintenance, he said, "Nope, I won't be back to do anything else". During our conversation he was different, flip and unapologetic in his tone. I felt like the rug had been pulled out from under me. I completely understand that with his guy quitting that Jordan was going to be short staffed, but it was the way he delivered the message that really left a bad taste in my mouth. Jordan told me that he wasn't taking on anymore new clients, just to let you know.
