I honestly don’t want to give even one star. I met the owners of this business to look at a rental. I loved the house, was given an application. I completed the application, provided rental and work references and income verification. Mr. and Mrs. Adkins called and verified a few things, then called and offered us the home. I was excited, in between working I packed up as much as I could in my house. I had wanted to move August 1st but Mrs. Atkins insisted on immediate because she had had people just not show up. I agreed to meet them 7/22/2020 at 5 pm to pay first month and deposit and sign the lease. I gave my landlord official notice. On the day of, about 2 hours before our set time to meet, I received a text saying “ So sorry things just changed dramatically today! We are going to sale the property. If another property comes available we will let you know. Again so sorry about this.” I informed them that I had already provided notice to my landlord since I was promised this property and my girls and I had nowhere to live as of the first. The response “ I have never had this happen before! What happen today was very unexpected. We wish you the best”. Very disappointed, very upset. This couple was so unprofessional and deceiving in the end.
