This website popped up on a game I was playing on the App Store. I ordered two lipsticks. The product was a great concept as it's environment friendly, cruelty free, vegan, help hides wrinkles on older women's lips, & supposedly some proceeds go to helping climate. My godmother is 80 yrs. old. She is a very spiritual, conservationist, soft loving woman. These lipsticks were packaged so delicately and pretty online, perfect for her. I had them shipped to her address out of state. We also were offered 10% off, sounded like a good idea to us. I looked for a gifting option because it was supposed to be a surprise. There was no gifting option. I tried to leave messages for my godmother that she would be receiving something in the mail. She has a little memory deficit, so she did not recall my information. Before it was even delivered I was in constant contact with customer service, "Amanda", who I expressed to that they for one, had her address wrong twice, I had to repeat it to them a 3rd time. They had Dr. in her address instead of Ct. Then I expressed the fact that there was no gifting option so that the person receiving it would not know who it's from. When my godmother received it, she did not remember that she was receiving something from me. I did not want to tell her what it was specifically because it was a gift. Her husband sent it back to the company, March 10th. I understand the company does not except returns in most situations. I did not think that they would be returned. I did not return them, my godfather returned them. My godmother states, she does not wear lipstick anymore. I don't think she remembers if she wears lipstick or not:(. I reached out to the company again, I expressed 4 concerns and "Amanda" addressed one. She ignored rest of my email, stating "there are no refunds, have a good day". She didn't apologize nor offered any solutions. This is a very unique situation, yet she did not seem to care. I'm sure this doesnt happen frequently. The product is almost to their facility per the tracking info. (https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirm)I have all of the tracking information from the USPS. I sent the tracking information to show her the package is on its way. It was not opened as I expressed to her. I looked at the BBB after the fact, my fault; and they have an "F" for the same reasons why I am contacting you. They do not refund in situations that need to be refunded, they don't answer our questions, they are not helpful, & they do not respond properly. This company is going to receive the product back and keep my money which came up to almost $30 for two lipsticks? We don't have the product nor do we have the money. I wish I would've looked at the BBB before, but I haven't had a bad experience online in years. The last email I sent her, states that I would like a refund because they are going to receive their product back in the same condition they sent it & it was an unforseen situation. She responds, "We don't refund & have a good day". I also asked to be contacted by supervisor, no response. I ask you to please research this company as they have had several complaints through the BBB, they have an "F. They also will not respond to BBB as stated on BBB website. looks like they are doing consumers wrong. I ask that you help get our refund as I am trying to assist my mom. I don't have a lot of money but wanted to buy my godmother a gift as she recently helped me come see my mother when she was critically ill. My desired outcomes would be 3 things: 1) My bank account be refunded when they receive products 2) My family be contacted by someone representing company other than a customer service rep 3) Have business fined, held responsible in another way, and if they do not change their policies, procedures, & customer service, then shut them down for the same complaints by several consumers. They need to be held accountable for what they are doing to people who are trusting in their concept of product.
