The contractor came to my home Oct 24, 2019. I paid him $4,020 as a deposit for the work to begin within 30 days. Post 30 days the work never began. I kept asking and he blamed it on a back log in work. Fast forward March 2021, we are in the height of Covid-19. He said he wasn't doing work due to the virus. Ok I let it slide. Fast forward. September 2021, still no work done on my backyard. I asked for the refund. He said he did not have the money. He said I won't be able to get any money back. I complained to BBB and he was hysterical and we agreed to resolve. He gave me $400 and was to make payments every two weeks. I received one payment. I am owed $3,620 since the one payment. I want my money back. I will no longer go on with his lies to not pay me. I am willing to speak to the media about being taken advantage of during a pandemic.
