Every morning after about two years after a heavy cold, he had an allergic cough. I tried a few different drugs, and my doctor even gave me some, but none of them worked before I tried Benadryl. The cough didn't go away completely but it definitely helped to quench it better than anything else I tried and also helped with runny nose, particularly in the mornings.
