Now, this is what specifically happened to me: 1- I signed up for their service via "Purple Heart Moving" which is a brokerage (they are also another scam, but at least they answer their phone). So, I had no choice in who undertakes my actual move. Ernest is basically the local 'handlers'. 2- Their process of arriving, timing, and non-existent customer service is a long story. In short, they were late, arrived in a rental Penske truck, were aggressive and threatened me to leave if I don't let them pick up my stuff, and were TERRIBLE in handling the packing. 3- Their customer service was rude, threatening, and in fact, shouted at me that they find it offensive that I am asking them for ID and company information (no uniforms or marked truck. Exactly what "beware of scam' sites warn you about!). 4- The next three weeks after pick up, were spend in anxiety of whether I will see my stuff again. All calls to Customer service were unanswered. Purple Heart would also just provide standard, off-the-screen information. 5- My stuff arrived, 24 hours AFTER the truck driver called and said he will be there in one hour!!! 6- Fortunately, the driver was an independent trucker. He told me that yes indeed, they seem like a scam. That they have no warehouse and operate out of a storage facility, that they were unprofessional, and that he also felt uncomfortable. 7- Now: the BIGGEST issue: they have damaged three pieces of furniture, broken my desk, and LOST my antique shelf! The shelf was never loaded into the truck in NJ! So, they forgot to load it on the truck altogether. 8- NO amount of telephone calls, whether to Ernest or to Purple Heart, have resulted in anything. Emails are unanswered. Even the BOT messaging system is quiet. Purple Heart's promise that they will get back to me has gone unanswered. It's three weeks and no a SINGLE action has been taken. AVOID THEM LIKE PLAGUE!

I had a great experience with Ernest moving & storage the first time I used them, so when I needed help moving again, I didn't even have to think twice about who to contact. Scheduling was painless - communication was clear and they were really flexible. On the day of, Alex and Victor were very careful, efficient, and friendly. Would definitely use them again; highly recommend!

just moved to new house with Ernest moving & storage over this weekend. movers were punctual and finished job on time. they wrapped furnitures and other stuff with either wraps or blankets for protection. they placed basic protection for my marble floors and stairways and i was not able to spot any damages to house nor furnitures after moving. my movers were team of 3 Benjamin, Alex and Mike was superhuman. he carried heaviest stuffs around by himself. overall, great moving experience and they deserve 5 stars.

I hired Ernest moving & storage and it was a complete dream. Benjamin and Alex did an excellent job packing the truck, dissembling and moving furniture, and making sure everything was done with quickness and care. I couldn't have asked for anything more from Ernest moving & storage!

Ernest moving & storage made sure it was all organized together and did everything that they said they were going to do. We're friends with Austin, who works for Ernest moving & storage. They had moved us before so we're returning customers. You should use Ernest moving & storage! They are very pleasant and do a great job. Our move was not an easy one because it was in so many directions, but the people at Lux moving are very pleasant and do a great job!

This is the first time we've used movers. We're currently at the halfway point, with our things moved into storage. We hope to be able to move into our new place. My wife found Ernest moving & storage, so we gave them a call. So far, we've been very pleased with the service. We just let them do everything, because they are the professionals and know what their doing. It was amazing, how careful they were with every piece. We have a lot of wood furniture, and it was all wrapped and covered in plastic. We are anticipating that there will be no issues with our things at the end of all this.

Ernest moving & storage did an excellent job handling my move. It was easy to get in touch with them and contract them to come out. The crew was really nice and courteous, and it was clear that they knew what they were doing. They worked really hard all day long to get the job done for me, and bent over backwards every step of the way to make it a good experience.
