They are the worst contractors we have ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs! Here is a very brief synopsis of what transpired. We hired them in March of 23 to install 2 sets of doors & 3 windows. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks for the products to come in. It is now nearly 6 months later & nothing has been installed! They told us they placed the order in March when they took our money. Over the next 2 months they told us a bunch of stories about delays from the manufacturer due to a shortage of glass. For over two months I asked Ameriglass for a purchase order number & they refused to give it. I cannot count the number of times that I called Javier & was told he would call me back & he never did. Only after getting my lawyer involved did I finally get the po#. After getting the po# we discovered that Ameriglass didn't place the order until nearly 9 weeks after they were supposed to! The manufacturer also told me there were no productions delays due to a shortage of glass. Four months after signing the contract Ameriglas finally sent framers to do the preinstallation framing. However they refused to do the framing because the windows & door that Amerglass ordered would not fit! Javier of Ameriglass told us the measurements their salesman were wrong & the items would not fit without (significantly) modifying the openings. He became very abusive & started screaming & cursing at us. His guys promptly left without doing any work. 2 months have passed since this occurred & Ameriglass not contacted us to reschedule or made any effort to resolve the issue. We are now suing them to get our money back. DO NOT do business with Ameriglass!
