I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Los Angeles. I was inspired to go into the field by my own experience with therapy. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) offering both individual therapy and couples counseling in Los Angeles, CA, and the surrounding areas. I opened my private practice in July 2019, and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, I began offering teletherapy, allowing me to meet with clients across the state of California. I pursued a few different paths before taking on a career in mental health. I studied Modern Literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz; tutored in science, math, and the SATs; and trained and competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My approach to psychotherapy is informed by my time coaching individuals in athletic and academic settings. I customize a unique blend of techniques for each client based on their individual needs, including modalities such as cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and dynamic therapy. My experience includes anxiety disorders, harm reduction and moderation, substance and addiction treatment, and a range of relationship issues like codependency, boundaries, and overcoming conflict in relationships. I use the research on what works to help my clients pursue the outcomes they want: better relationships, managed anxiety, less depression, and more control over life. The decision to pursue therapy is an exciting step toward building the life you want. By working together, we can get to a different place than we are able to achieve on our own.
