Autonomous desk helps you move more and do more, and your Autonomous chair protects your health, focus and well-being. Autonomous has been a company driven by technological innovation since its inception in 2015. Starting out as a group of people with a firm understanding of both software and hardware, our first product was a robot assistant named Maya whose job was to make lives easier, more convenient and smarter. 2015 saw us debut the SmartDesk on Kickstarter and IndieGoGo. We were able to raise approximately $400,000 to get this show on the road. 2016 allowed us to introduce the first ErgoChair, which received excellent reviews and went on to sell in excess of a million units. 2017 was a year of growth. We grew by 160%, reaching 38 countries and serving 56,000 clients with 89,000 desks. 2018 was our first real setback. We launched SmartDesk 3 but it didn’t live up to our expectations. We learned a lot from the project, evaluating the feedback of customers, assessing our strengths and weaknesses and working hard to learn from our mistakes. 2019 - the launch of our first SmartDesk Corner and new ErgoChair Pro+, which sold 874 and 1,137 units respectively in their first 2 months.
