The Good, The Bad, The Incompetent, we have experienced them all! We thought the floors in our 3-year-old house were the right choice at the time, eventually deciding to add the same flooring to the second floor, we found a local company that claimed they could match the flooring and perform the work necessary to match the stairway and landing. Unfortunately, we soon realized this company not only misrepresented their abilities and expertise, but they also butchered our stairway. We made the decision to replace all the flooring in the house and fix the incompetent work of both the builder and last flooring company. After vetting several floor companies in the area, we found Premier Flooring. We met with Chuck in the Raleigh office, he assisted us in finding great options and even survived our consumer interrogation. We made an in-home appointment, Chuck took measurements, examined our needs for an entire stairway re-build and made it clear they were capable of taking on this project. Being this project was a bit more complicated than a typical floor install and required craftsmen capable of performing the intricate work that would meet our expectations, Chuck and Milo brought in additional specialists to consult on the project. They not only brought transparency to the project proposal, but also examined every detail prior to bringing forward two proposals. Surprisingly one of them was a down sell, clearly indicating their only goal was to deliver a product we were going to ultimately be happy with. This is a one stop shop, they handled everything and scheduled everything, they were transparent up front on what to expect and stuck to their schedule. As the project progressed, Milo stopped out several times to check in. The crew maintained a very punctual schedule, they maintained high attention to detail throughout the entire install, and literally left no unfinished surface exposed. Even the additional cleaning crew service was very impressive, the house has never been cleaner after they finished. Mike spent three days replacing the entire stairway, he took additional steps to protect our home and explained each step of the way. Mike's work on the stairwell was phenomenal, he is a master of his craft and delivered a beautifully finished stairway that finally fits the contemporary design of the home. We could not be happier with the end result. Premier Flooring delivers white glove service, I wish we would have found them earlier. They are more than capable; they have all the right people doing the work and deliver on their commitment to the customer.
