Let me start of by saying - that I rarely ever take the time to leave long reviews. However, I feel obligated to let people know that truth of our experience with this company and cannot, in good conscious, let this go unsaid. I wish there was an option to leave ZERO stars because this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with an inspection company. Within the first few weeks of occupying our supposedly "move-in ready" home, we have encountered the following: 1. A broken ice maker in the refrigerator (repair cost: $300) 2. A non-functional oven (repair cost: $600) 3. A gas leak in the furnace-posing an immediate safety hazard to our family (of which consists of 2 small children; ages 2 and 6 months) 4. The complete failure of our water heater, which required a full replacement at a cost of over $4,500 5. And most alarmingly, we have just been informed that the entire HVAC system and furnace must be replaced, at an estimated cost of $18,000 This is not normal wear and tear-this is a complete failure of the inspection process. We have not even paid our first mortgage payment on this property and already have spent close to $25,000 in repair/replacement costs. We have literally had 8-10 service professionals to our new property within 1 month of being in this house where each of these professionals have all expressed that they "cannot believe this passed inspection". When confronting TopChoice inspectors about these issues, they took zero accountability. For any buyers considering using this Company, I would strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. If you are a seller - they will probably save you some money with all of the issues they will undoubtably miss. For anyone questioning using this Company, I am more than happy to provide proof of receipts and communication with the individuals we have unfortunately had to deal with.
