After sharing some of their product, their friends and family encouraged them to start a coffee business. Rich is the general manager, charged with overseeing the growth and development of their new coffee business. The Pavlik Family does all of the roasting themselves. Rich uses adaptive technology, such as a talking computer, to keep records and schedule orders. Rich is considering adding a talking scale to weigh the product and streamline the bagging process. Rich is also the general manager of Pavlik’s Carpet Cleaning business, which Jayne presides over. The pair started Blind Bean Roasters as a means of blending a passion for fine coffee with their penchant for entrepreneurship.
