When communicating with the moving company, American Moving Solutions, there seemed to be clear communication. However, when they contracted out the move, the communication stopped. I had to initiate communication to get a pick up date confirmed, they didn't show up when expected and to get a delivery date. Upon arrival of our items, 2 main items: the couch and a tv, were completely broken. Although American Moving doesn't do the moving of the items, they contract it out, they should be contracting with people who are responsible and will do a good job. I feel they should do a better job of making sure their movers are responsible. Communication with the movers is very inconsistent and they do not take care of your items. I do not recommend this company until they do better with who they work with.

Thank you for your honest review. Our haulers do all they can to protect the integrity of our customers belongings. Sadly at times things to break or get lost. Each move comes with Standard Cargo protection and we can certainly help you file a claim if you need help or direction.

This company is a fraud company DO NOT GO with them They estimate way less than actual space and we have sent all pictures of bulky items and dimensions of all major furniture. The boxes were accurate. In total they had 4 review calls and I had shared all the pics and all bulky items. When the movers arrived they estimated 75 percent more and they asked 724 cu ft and demanded 7000 USD more than the actual estimate. Do not trust this company and people like Randy, Eric and other QA folks may talk nicely to earn your business and get the deposit. It will be a bummer. The worst of all is their General Manager Janet - She is the manager as of Aug 19 2022. So arrogant and to cover their teams mistakes would blame us and not let us to talk. We negotiated to pay 3000 USD, which was still unreasonable, but we were ok to pay so the move could happen. But Janet the manager is the most arrogant and we had to cancel

Thank you for your glowing review. The hauler reported to us (with you on the telephone) that you had much more items than you originally disclosed to us. We did everything we can to negotiate the costs down for you. You were given the option to ship the list of items on your original estimate and declined to do so and refused to pay the additional costs to ship the additional items. Not sure what we could have done differently especially when we ask you to sign off on the estimate.

This company is a scam and I'm almost positive that these reviews are fake as well! Once they collect your deposit they don't care if you get moved or not! They canceled my move without my consent and refused to return my deposit! They are unprofessional and unreliable!
