If I could give them negative 10 stars I would. We hired Jeremy (Jay) Silence of Harebell Homes to remodel our basement October 11th 2019. His website said 21 years in business but his LLC was new in May of 2019. He said he could start the next week after we paid our Deposit. He never showed up. Then he said he got Covid-19 around thanksgiving but his Facebook page showed him enjoying it with family. Then he claimed saying his guys was holding the price to start my basement hostage and he would start it himself on December 1st. He never showed up, or get a contractors license for the town of Erie. I had to fire him after 2 months because he never started the project or responded to my phone calls, texts, emails. In my opinion he is a crook. He never once set foot in my house to do any work. He took my $13k deposit and never worked. I paid the permit, I had the plans. You have been warned. He said I would get my deposit back after 90 days but lied about that too. Never got my property back.
