David M. Waterhouse, MD, MPH, is a medical oncologist and hematologist whose specialties include lung cancer and urologic cancer. Dr. Waterhouse is passionate about cancer research and the impact it has on patients. This is evidenced by his extensive commitments: as Chair of the Research Community Forum of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), as Co-Director of OHCs Research Department, and as Principal Investigator for lung cancer trials at OHC. His intense drive and unlimited compassion have been recognized by ASCO as winner of the Clinical Trials Participation Award, the Young Investigator Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and as an international lecturer on immunotherapy drugs. He is also the recipient of the Unsung Hero Award from Cancer Family Care and the Healthcare Hero Innovator Award from the Cincinnati Business Courier, and serves on the Board of Medical Advisors for the Cancer Support Community.
