Had to find replacement counsel two weeks into my sons divorce, so this is not a review based on a disgruntled outcome. This attorney lacks compassion, is very passive and had little to no communication with my son regarding important events in his case. She failed in EVERY aspect that one would expect from a divorce/custody attorney. There is better representation in Mansfield, Ohio, I strongly urge you seek ANY of them out. I Would not reccomend Kristin Brown to litigate a speeding ticket for me much less something as intimate as a divorce/custody. Situations like this find people at their most vulnerable and while we are keenly aware that one is not a lawyers only client, but a good attorney will make you feel as though you are. Impersonal, unprofessional, lacks communication skills, questionalbe knowledge about civil law procedure, seems very "cookie cutter" in her approach to what should be very indiviualized situations, she referred to my sons situation as "just like any other divorce". Would highly discourage anyone from retaining her as counsel.
