Tourmaline Builders Tourmaline Builders is a luxury homebuilder based in San Diego. The company specializes in building exceptional quality homes in coastal communities. Tourmaline has won the Icon Awards for best custom home in San Diego five times, and has been a finalist for the National Association of Home Builders’ nationwide award for best custom home. Tourmaline has also been named among the “Best Places to Work in San Diego”. Unlike other builders who subcontract all work, we build with our own employees.
