Dr. Bossenbroek grew up in Muskegon and is an alumnus of Western Michigan Christian High School. She graduated with an honors degree in biology from Calvin College, and attended the Medical College of Wisconsin. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received several other honors, including the Hiram B.
