I called Robert on 14 May 2021 and was messaged immediately saying that he was busy. I proceeded to call the following day, and he said that he would contact me by the end of the business day to put me in his schedule. I received a text message at nearly 10:30pm that night saying he could see me on 15 May 2021 between the hours of 1pm-3pm. On 15 May 2021, Robert had not communicated with me at ALL. At roughly 2:45, I messaged him and asked if he was still coming by-to which I got no response. I proceeded to call around 2:50, and he said one of his workers went home with an emergency, and he would be at my place by 3. Mind you, it was 10 minutes prior to his window closing. When Robert showed up, his demeanor and disrespect completely threw me off. He continued looking at his watch as if I was an inconvenience to him. He looked at my backyard-which we discussed the day prior-and said "shoot, I want to come by next week and do this backyard." I then told him if it was easier for him, just please do my front yard instead. He told me could do the front and back (back was going to be bagged-not mulched) and we agreed on $75 total. He then cut my front yard, and proceeded to charge me $50 for the front alone. Robert is a disgrace to veteran owned businesses, and I will NEVER refer this business to anyone in Yelm. His lack of professionalism, and manners lost my business. His cutting is abhorrent, and didn't bother blowing my grass that he cut (don't worry, I'll do your job). I gave him 1 star because at least he managed to get my address right. He didn't even bother to say thank you.
