I help folks handle divorce and/or custody cases with significantly less conflict and at least 150% less cost and in less time than hiring attorneys ChristieLegal provides affordable, efficient, & friendly paralegal services in family law - divorce and custody. I help clients through divorce and/or custody cases by providing them with legal info. and helping them negotiate agreements on the many issues. If necessary, then I refer them to an attorney for legal advice. Second, I write the court documents that reflect their agreements. Lastly, I prepare them for the court process. The fee rate is $125 per hour. The deposit is $1,000 to $2,000, depending upon how much work the case will likely require. When I mediate only, the fee rate is $195 per hour. The down payment is the number of hours of mediation times $195. When I help folks reach decisions on custody issues post-divorce or custody case, the fee rate is $175 per hour. The down payment is $1,000 to $2,000, depending upon how much work the case will likely require. I offer a 20% discount for my heroes - military members, law enforcement & corrections officers, firefighters, social workers, mental health providers, teachers, & veterans of all of those careers, victims of domestic abuse, and moderate-income folks (earn less than $40k / year). Hours of Operation: My regular office hours are as follows: M - Th 9 am to 8 pm; F 9 am to 6 pm; an& Saturday 10 am to 1 pm. I'm also available at other times by appointment. I work for folks whom have family law cases in all MN courts. I normally meet in-person with folks in The Twin Cities by appointment only. However, at this time, I’m working 100% online using Zoom meetings. It’s a very easy system for clients. You’d simply click on a link that I email you and I handle the rest.
