Mr. Broussard, owner of HRB Contracting LLC, approached me as a public adjuster stating he could get me a free roof. Mr. Broussard and his crew came to my rental property and did an inspection pointing out wind and hail damage. Mr. Broussard instructed me to contact my insurance company and file a claim on my windstorm policy. I complied and filed the claim. Mr. Broussard also met with the claims adjuster at the rental property and pointed out even more damage including asbestos siding that needs to be replaced. The insurance company approved the replacement of the roof and mailed an initial payment of $798 and the remainder of the payment will be paid at completion. After receiving the check, Mr. Broussard met me at my residence and had to me sign the agreement stating he would be the contractor to replace the roof and he had permissions to speak with the insurance company. Mr. Brouard then requested that I write him a check for $700 to get started on the roof. Check #1086 was made out to HRB Contracting LLC on 03/01/2020. The check was cashed a few days later. I have spoke with Mr. Broussard several times since then and he has still not replaced my roof. I spoke with Mr. Broussard in September and he stated he would refund my money if he hadn't completed the roof by next week. I have yet to hear from Mr. Broussard or receive a refund.
