Our Waste Magment recycling program here in Oracle leaves a lot to be desired. We personally haul the few items they accept and are now expected to pay them a fee each time for recycling. Responsibility for helping the environment falls on the citizens while Waste Managment ignores their negative impact on recycling and continues its heavy profits. Many citizens now choose to skip the additional expense of recycling as they already pay Waste Managment for trash pickup. Such a profitable organization to be hindering the benefits recycling brings to the environment? I had been blaming the county but they assured me it is Waste Managment who is responsible. Shame on them!
