I don't recommend this builder. Their website address gives you an error. In an attempt to hide, the owner of Whitmoore has been changing the names of his company on review sites like this. Even this site now shows "Whitmoore Custom Homes" as "Custom Homes". I was one of the customers that helped expose this disreputable business. I filed complaints with the state of texas, chamber of commerce and better business bureau. Whitmoore Custom Homes and Whitley were a nightmare to do business with and ruined our dream home experience forever.

Whitmoore Custom Home, LLC is amazing. They did an amazing remodel of home. They are quick and efficient and meticulous in their detail. They went above and beyond and were always on top of any concerns. You can't go wrong with Whitmoore Custom Home, LLC. Thank you so much!

My Aunt purchased a home built by this company. I am a contractor and have been helping her out with this house. The house is new construction and expensive. more than 500,000. It started with little problems like leaking fixtures and sticky cabinet drawers. Then the drains kept clogging every week or to and a kitchen appliance failed. Probably used it a total of 4 times. The garage doors sort of work but need constant adjustment. I think she needs to totally redo the tracks and get a bigger motor. After a spell of cold weather, there are a million cracks forming in the base moldings and dry wall corners. Waiting for painters to quote the job. Its going to be expensive. So anyways, the short story is this company does not build good houses.

I am not at all impressed with their work. I saw one of their new homes. Dry wall finish and paint looks worse than a DIY. Cheap vinyl windows and garage doors. They must really like particle board cause they built the cabinets, shelves, and doors out of it. Don't even get me talking about the gaps in the floors. Ugh. Hideous design and awful workmanship.

This is one messed up company that doesn't understand customer service or respect. I'm an unhappy customer, and trust me I don't say that lightly. I never write reviews, but after months of going back and forth with this builder I must do something to warn other potential customers. We have serious problems with our house. I mean serious to the point that completely moving in is a stress option that we may not go through. We have paint, plumbing, window, door and water issues just to name a few. Furthermore, what you would expect in a nice custom house is not included in the price. Its extra. Builder does not know much about building a nice quality house or what should be in its design. Everything takes so much longer than they say. Everything is a lengthy discussion since they are unimaginative and forgetful. Then they try to blame you, their contractors, and manufacturers. Months after the work is done, there are problems and then he starts the blame game. Finger pointing and excuses that don't make any sense to us. He even blames me and family for decisions he made. How would you like it if you paid someone a million dollars so they could blame you for giving you low quality? So much for our dream home experience. Months late (so far 16 months late and counting) and thousands over budget. Ask the builder Milton Whitley for reference checks. Speak with people he has built homes for. Do this before you buy! He builds expensive yet low quality homes in Rowlett, Rockwall, Sunnyvale, Garland, and Mesquite Texas. And don't trust his web site. Those aren't pictures of his homes. He got those off the internet.
