Shubha is a professional singer and she performs at various local events all over CA Bay area with her team. She likes to perform the following genre of Indian music - Indian Classical, semi-classical (Ghazals, Bhajans, Thumris, Dadra, Tappa, Chaiti, Hori etc), Sufi, Bengali songs (Rabindrasangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Dwijendra Geeti, Shyama Sangeet, Raag Pradhan, Devotional songs etc), Marathi songs (Natya Sangeet, Bhavgeet, Abhang etc) along with the new experimental genre of Classical Fusion where she collaborates with Western Musicians and brings out unique flavor of East & West through her music! Shubha offers vocal classes in Hindustani Classical music to intermediate and advanced students in Milpitas, CA. Currently she is teaching only adults.
