I personally have had great experience with Mrs. Maggie (owner of GPR). I first knew Mrs. Maggie when I worked in a pet shop, this guy threw out his chihuahua out the window like he was trash! Long story short I got in contact with Grumpy Puppy Rescue and Mrs. Maggie helped me with cujo who was later renamed to Paco Taco for obvious reasons haha. This is a gem of a rescue who care and are passionate about rehabilitating animals in need and finding great homes for them. I don't know why anyone would write a bad review if all the volunteers treat everyone who comes by with respect and want to find a great home for these pups. People don't understand the money and time it takes to rehabilitate dogs without government funding like public animal shelter. 100% recommend this rescue!

If i could give this 0 stars i would! Thought the first review was a joke until i met these people. Drove 200 miles, and was told the dog was ours, papers just had to clear, then denied after waiting. Owner and her daughter both fat pigs, thank god they "save" animals because theyve abused fast food chains since birth. Dont even get my started on the more then disgusting michelle alexander. The biggest trailer trash out of the bunch, made threats when we simply had questions about an animals. Also rude. Trying to understand how its legally acceptable to have all of these mentally unstable people caring for animals! Seems dangerous!Unless youre trailer trash like them, they dont want you. Just FYI. Dont waste time or money. Welcome

DO NOT ADOPT FROM THEM THEU HATE GAY PEOPLE AND SELL BACK DOGS... they say it’s a rehome fee but who charges $300 or more on older dogs when you can adopt at a shelter for $30-80 and still have them fixed at no cost? The owner is also raciest and hates blacks and Mexicans you will notice closely you will see her posting pictures of only whites family’s adopting
