Been using the service for about a year. Several things broken and NEVER did the service let me know. I always had to find the items and ask. When you inquire about things like this, the owner gets very aggressive and argues that you are the problem. They cleaned dry surfaces extremely well (dusting and vacuuming), but wet surfaces such as tile floors and bathrooms still needed work after they left a lot of times. I inquired on my neighborhood fb group and several people in my neighborhood had the same issues. Bottom line, if you can't get my bathrooms clean and you break stuff and don't tell me (and argue with me about it when I let you know), I can't trust you to provide a service in my home.

Do not use this company. The owner Elizabeth is horrible! She charged $400 for a deep clean. When I had issues she stopped over and treated her staff horrible! It is sad because I am pretty sure most of them are illegal immigrants. She pays them nothing. When Christmas comes around she sends a letter to please send all bonus directly to her. And she gives them cents on the dollar and pockets the rest. Do not support her and her illegal business. Elizabeth you should be ashamed of yourself!

We have been long-time customers of Finichel Cleaning Services. At our most recent cleaning (a deep-cleaning post the COVID hiatus), her team broke an item of significant value in our home and left a note saying that Elizabeth would be in touch to discuss. When she reached out, we suggested two free cleanings in place of the value of the broken item (a hand-made, one-of-a-kind piece from Jamaica). She said the couldn't do free cleanings, but that she could offer reimbursement for the item. When we gave her what we considered a reasonable price for the item ($200), she replied with a $50 listing on eBay that she felt was comparable. We responded and told her because our item was one-of-a-kind and a hand-carved piece from our travels, we felt that $200 was a fair dollar figure. She agreed to reimburse us the $200 for the item, but along with that, she fired us as a client. Businesses that are run properly should have insurance to allow for these types of mishaps, as we all know that accidents will and do happen. However, treating long-term clients like this is saddening. In all of our years as a client of hers, we have had only this one item broken and she decides to fire us. I always wondered why people spoke so negatively of Finichel Cleaning Services on social media since we had only positive experiences. Now I understand why. If you are looking for a cleaning service for your home, I suggest you look elsewhere.
