The full story. Is this called highway robbery!!!. They came out with an unwritten estimate of 15K to 20K!!!!! I just had it all done by an HONEST COMPANY FOR $2100!!!!!
I'm a 69 year old senior. I was scared when 2 big trees fell on my garage. They came over ... EMERGENCY EMERGENCY...and pushed me to sign an emergency contract...before I even talked to my insurance.
Then verbally tell me 15 to 20,OOO$$$$$$.
My insurance company freaked:) I cancelled the contract.
Unprofessional and possibly...elder abuse.
I hired a local...he gave me a $2000 quote!!!!! All done beautifully!!!!
