New Hope Learning Center & Day Care takes every review, positive or negative, very seriously. It is unfortunate when an employee leaves on unhappy terms. We have read this review from Miss Alli in multiple places and we thank her for her opinion. We have made necessary changes to our written policies, as well as training our staff in proper safety practices. Our employee handbook is given to all new hires, including provisions for time off requests and leaves of absences. We always make every effort to provide our employees with a safe space in a time of need, and we are sorry to hear that Miss Alli did not feel valued. We are working one-on-one with each of our current employees to make sure that these kinds of misunderstandings do not occur in the future. Our center prides itself of involving families in everything we do, and we want to make it clear that our door is always open to any questions or concerns a parent or employee may have.

Would not reccomend!!!! I worked at this company only for a month. It all started off really well until the death of my grandmother. I had told the owner that I would need to be off for a few days so I could fly to California for my grandmothers services. I was told if I go I would be lucky to have a job once I returned. I was also told I was entitled for asking if they offered brievement time. I was appalled to how I was spoken to. family comes first especially when a death occurs! My job was threatened therefore I couldn't attend the services because I was scared to lose my job. To make matters worse, my second check was 3 days late from this company when their handbook clearly states that an employee will get paid a day early if they are closed on pay day. When I asked when I would recieve my check the director sent me a screenshot of her and Rimas conversation. Rima had wrote Christi "I am not giving her a check today lol" I now have to go to court because they are holding my last check! I would not send your children here either!! For starters, they offer a variety of unhealthy carbonated food. All they offer is pasta, ravioli, mac and cheese, etc everyday! I didn't have the option to pack my son's own lunch because they do not have a microwave. Very unhealthy options for growing children! As far as safety goes, the building is made with hardwood floors making injuries much more common. Their playground is located in a parking lot which is made of concrete. Serious injuries can occur outside! Especially for children just learning to walk! The director is very inexperienced and the owner has no regard to anyone's needs. All she cares about is money and sucess in the company. these people are not who they seem when you meet them! When you bring up questions or concerns she become very defensive. This company will cut your hours tremendously since there is not enough enrollment. I worked a total of 3 days in two weeks. Since my son was enrolled, I asked if I would be charged for the days we were told not to come in. The response I recieved was "I was not going to charge him at all, but since you like to jump to conclusions I will" their response to questions/concerns is unbelievably unprofessional and defensive. For the sake of your children do not send them here! Cooperations are the way to go!
