I don't typically write reviews online, especially when it's a negative one, but I feel obligated to write one based on my experiences with Brightstone after purchasing a home that they built and sold to me. Unprofessional is the kindest and the most objective word that I can think of to describe those that we interacted with from Brightstone (with the exception of Alex, the plumber). I've had to work with Brightstone to fix one issue after another since the home purchase. They came out to fix a roof leak, shower leak, sink leak, etc. within the first two months of me moving in. Each time it was very difficult to get someone to come to the house, and sometimes the contractors would leave without fixing anything or speaking with me. Then, after months of these drawn-out repairs, Gene Johnson all of the sudden decided that I declined their 2/10 home warranty, which I did NOT, and refused to complete the remaining repairs. This communication/text from Gene came after they had already started a repair that left a hole in the bathroom floor, and they are refusing to repair the hole that they caused. I asked Gene to provide proof/documentation on where I declined the warranty, but he chose to ignore all communications from me instead of responding to my request. He has also ignored all communications from the real estate attorney I hired and apparently from the Better Business Bureau.
